For 2024-25 we have been asked by our partners London Arts & Health to curate four (4) digital sandpits exploring facets of being an artist engaged in making work about health. The London Arts and Health Creative Health Sandpit is an informal space which exemplifies brilliant practice from the sector and allows members to learn, engage and explore in a structured yet open way.
Join us in the first of these four digital sessions with artist Carrie Ravenscroft who will share her experience as a neurodivergent artist navigating the art world, including examples of good practices when working with organisations, and effective ways of communicating her needs. Participants will also engage in a creative activity to consider some of the challenges and qualities of being neurodiverse, with an opportunity to ask Carrie questions and discuss as a group ways to navigate practical solutions to working in the creative health field as a freelance artist.
