The Support Hub is a pilot programme offering mental health support for artists with lived experience of mental health difficulties. The supported artists will meet monthly over six months, engaging in peer-to-peer support with facilitation by artist Daniel Regan and integrative counsellor and artist Jessica Mitchell. This opportunity is funded by the National Survivor User Network.
The Support Hub funds support for 12-15 artists to share the challenges and impacts that their practices have on their mental health. Each monthly session involves a mixture of creative exercises and group discussions, with a focus on supporting one another. In between each session there are pro-active creative homeplay activities that encourage reflection and growth.
