Artist / mentor
I have a keen interest in the seen and unseen and the interconnectedness of all things. I seek to open opportunities to deepen respect for the inherent potential and dignity within all life and to foster this through a stewardship-witnessing of self and other. I weave both the human and non-human, embracing the mix of stone and air and trees that form intricate aspects of self, identity, memory, movement and place.
Since 208 I have been facilitating workshops in the wider community, reaching vulnerable or isolated groups/individuals. My work is strongly body/sensory oriented in approach. This connects strongly to the aims of the Hub. Most recently I was engaged in a 1:1 long term in which I developed a tailored sensory arts programme on the boundaries of health and education. This included working with a GP across boundries of Eastern/Western medicine practices amidst the daily reality of life.
I am oriented towards working to engender hope and open up space/vision therein.
