Verónica Rodríguez is a lecturer, a published author and a workshop facilitator based in London, UK. She is Sessional Lecturer in the Department of Film, Theatre and Television at University of Reading. She is member of the research group “Contemporary British Theatre Barcelona (CBTBarcelona)”. Please see, www.ub.edu/cbtbarcelona. Her book David Greig’s Holed Theatre: Globalization, Ethics and the Spectator was published in 2019 by Palgrave Macmillan. Her next book project is on women’s health and contemporary theatre and performance practices. She combines this strand of her practice with her ongoing engagement with the theatre industry (examples include the Soho Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East and the Royal Court Theatre). Her play Bi, about bipolar disorder, was commissioned by the Royal Court Theatre (‘Listen Local’ project) and presented in London in September 2019 at the Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019. She is co-founder of the community theatre company Wild Forest Theatre. She is a member of the artistic collective of endometriosis sufferers Inner-Orchestra.

I am a second-year student currently studying for my degree in fine art I have been learning the photography side of things and love it and want to learn more. I also have to as part of my degree write a dissertation which I have chosen to do on art in mental health as myself and husband both suffer from it I have anxiety and depression and my husband is type 2 bipolar.
